Last year I finally gave into the hype and bought a pair of Spanx Faux Leather Leggings and I do not regret it. I know a lot of people love the Faux Leather Leggings so much they have multiple pairs! But instead of getting a 2nd pair I wanted to try some of the other Spanx offerings. Enter the Leather Like Ankle Skinny Pant.

The silhouette is very similar to the Spanx Faux Leather Legging but fits looser in the waist and ankle. The material is also thicker and has a more leather like feel, hence the name – leather like ankle skinny pant. Because the Faux Leather Legging runs small I sized up to a 3x but I found this size up to not be necessary in the Leather Like Ankle Skinny Pant and recommend ordering based of your size on the Spanx size chart.

Black pants are a great because you can wear them anywhere and pair with anything. Going with a leather like version is a great way to elevate this closet classic. Both Spanx styles are great and can be styled in similar ways but while I still love the Spanx Faux Leather Legging I am definitely glad I added the Spanx Leather Like Ankle Skinny pant to my wardrobe.
