I’ve been sharing a lot of pink things latley. Working from home has definitely helped me embrace the girly style I prefer since I don’t have to worry about looking professional and I am loving it. I definitely didn’t need this pink floret dress from the spring Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific release at Nordstrom but I absolutely love it and I’m glad I bought it even if I don’t have a party to go to anytime soon.
Although the entire Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collection isn’t available in plus I am so glad this one comes in both straight and plus sizes since I think it’s the best piece in the whole collection. Honestly, I would have loved to buy everything but you know, budget.

To wear this dress for a daytime look I paired with the complimenting belt from the collection and fun pink accessories. The heart sunnies and doll house purse are fun feminine pieces and give the dress a lighthearted look. I kept my hair super casual and clipped back one side with some super trendy crystal clips. Because the dress is a statement in itself I decided just to stick to a delicate chain necklace but I did add some pink floral statement earrings – they are super lightweight and I think their shape matches the dress perfectly. I finished out the look with some simple silver heels – I think metallic shoes are a great neutral and these are my favorite because the heel is not too high and they are available in medium, wide and double wide widths.
If I was going to wear this dress to a party or fancy event I would glam it up with sparkly accessories, a chic clutch and glamorous hair and makeup but I really happy how easy it was to style this dress for a daytime look. I think it could also be paired with sneakers and a denim jacket for a more casual look. I love versatile pieces on my closet and while I initially looked at this one as fitting one category I’m glad I played around with it and plan on wearing it again soon.
