I’m always thrilled when retailers offer inclusive sizes in store so when Athleta joined this club I was so excited! Athleta offered high quality fashionable activewear. While plus sizes have been offered online for years 2021 brought us inclusive sizing in store up to 3x.
In addition to regular in-store shopping Athleta also offered after hour personal styling sessions at select stores. I visited the location at The Shops of Saddle Creek for my personal session. This is just one way Athleta is making shopping safe but masks are required regardless of when you visit.
I’m usually pretty decisive on what I like but I decided it would be good to try something new so instead of just picking things I like I asked for outfits to be styled for me. Since the activities I enjoy the most are yoga, going for walks, and weekend hikes I asked to see an outfit for each.
First up is the yoga look. I love matching sets and I wear a lot of blue so this set was a love a first sight for me. The Elation Tight is something Athleta offers every season and while I love basics I think it’s fun to go with prints. These tights are so soft and offer some light compression. One thing I think Athleta is great at is also offering pieces that will take you to and from activities. This wrap is soft and comfortable and perfect for throwing on on your way to and from yoga – even if that’s at home!

Next up is a look that’s great for walking the dogs or pretty much any day to day activity. These joggers are the same material as the elation tight but are a little looser and do not have any compression. I’ve already worn these for a full day of working from home and I must say the comfort can’t be beat!

Finally, I tried a hiking look. I love that the material on these pieces is sturdy but lightweight. I’m pretty clumsy so the last thing I want is clothes that will rip easily if I stumble on the trail. Both pieces also have several pockets which is great for lighter hikes when you don’t want to carry a full backpack but want all the essentials.

I’m already regretting not getting the hiking look too but I wound up leaving with a pair of joggers, the coordinating sports bra and the poise wrap. While I have lots of workout leggings the joggers are unique and I love that I can wear them fir yoga and walking bug they’re perfectly comfortable for wearing all day at home too. The wrap is another unique piece and the weight is just perfect.
