Earlier this year in my 2018 wardrobe goals post I talked about some of the items that I just couldn’t find or missed out on in 2017 – I guess I was just being very fashion forward because it seems all my missed pieces became readily available this month.

I finally decided to just do it and buy the cashmere cardigan. I originally purchased online for $147 but then I happened to catch it on sale for under $100 – luckily the folks at Neiman were easy to work with in getting the price difference refunded. I thought the color would be a light camel color but in real life it’s a blushy-beige, I can’t be mad at that though. I recommend just bookmarking this item if you want to try to catch it on sale yourself – I’ve linked the plus size sweater and the straight size which does have a lower price point. It’s very lightweight and I’m pleased with the quality.  I could see myself getting this cardigan in multiple colors.

I was also really excited to find a khaki colored skirt – and bonus this one comes with a tie waist! I can’t even begin to think of the number of ways I can wear this skirt. With a nice top and heels its perfect to be professional without too formal or stuffy but I also see myself wearing it with flats for a little more casual look and with a tee and keds for casual weekend vibes. I’ve linked both the straight and plus size, both of which are currently on sale for under $20. I find the fit to be a little loose but still took my regular size, I would have been ok going down a size too, it’s just a personal choice.

Finally to wrap up my neutral beige collection I was able to find a classic pair of nude pumps. These are not too tall and the heel is thick enough to provide good stability.

These pieces are the perfect staples to go with the fun spring tops I plan on buying next month and I’ve already started to mix in with what I already have. Plus, these items were affordable enough that they left me enough room in my monthly budget for two more pieces – score!
