I’ve been traveling so much lately so I’ve pretty much got packing down to a science. Planning for a trip can be stressful so I’m here to make it a little easier for you and talk about the necessities, today were specifically talking about what’s in the toiletry bag. When thinking about necessities I first think about the things I don’t need – hotels always have shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer so I never bring my own to save space. I then think about what items I use at home that I can go without for the week vs. what I use everyday. I also try to think about products that are good for multipurpose; facial oil is a great example as I use it for a makeup remover at night , a moisturizer in the morning and I also use a small amount on the ends of my hair. Through this I’ve been able to narrow it down to only ten items.

I recently made the switch to Smile Brilliant cariPRO electric toothbrush and I couldn’t imagine leaving home without it. I noticed a different in my teeth and gums when I use a manual toothbrush even for a short period of time. The cariPRO is super lightweight and a charge lasts for 30 days so when it comes to travel it’s no more of a hassle than a small manual brush.
The cariPRO has five settings – clean , whiten, , massage , gum care and sensitive. I tend to leave it on the whiten setting but switch to massage after I brush to massage my gums about twice a week. My favorite feature is the built in timer – not only does the cariPRO go for two minutes so I get the recommended amount of brushing time it but it vibrates at 30 second intervals to let me know it’s time to move to a different quadrant of my mouth. I’m ashamed to admit that it’s clear I wasn’t brushing for a full two minutes before and I’m seeing whiter teeth as a result of doing so.
