48 Hours at The Madonna Inn

The first time I saw The Madonna Inn on instagram my first thought was oh my – what and where is this place because I must go! Founded in 1958, The Madonna Inn is a motel off the highway about halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles in San Luis Obispo. Each one of the 110 rooms have a unique theme and in my opinion fall into three categories – rock rooms (apparently the most popular) glam, and 1960s kitsch. The property has a Swiss Alps look on the exterior with two restaurants, a spa, tennis courts, a garden and beach entry pool on site.

Stoney Clover Lane x Target

Not only are target designer collections a great way to get the look for less but they (since 2015) offer plus sizes in the clothing items; which is typically something the collaborating brand does not offer including Stoney Clover Lane. While Stoney Clover Lane typically does not offer clothing they have in the past offered branded tees and sweatshirts and limited collabs of terry lounge wear but these pieces all maxed out at size 16. Stoney Clover Lane x Target will not only offer branded sweatshirts and a few terry pieces but will include several dresses and casual warm weather items and a lot of swim wear in their bright colors and prints.

Stoney Clover Lane – Is it worth the price?

Stoney Clover Lane offers bags and pouches that can be personalized with an assortment of patches they also carry. Stoney Clover has what they call their “core collection” that is a variety of silhouettes in solid colors. Of course, there’s really nothing exciting about a solid color nylon pouch so the real fun comes in customization.

So it was really my lucky day when this unicorn of shoes found me and I received an email from Ally Shoes.

Snag Tights – Size Inclusive Brand Review

Do you ever have an article of clothing where you think oh this would look so cute with X, but you don’t have X so it just sits in your closet unworn? That’s how I feel about a lot of my dresses and for me X was a pair of tights in fun colors. To be honest I’ve spend most of my life hating pantyhose / tights because well, they’re tight! As someone who is both tall and plus size I always felt like I was shoving myself into something not really meant for my body when wearing tights. But after following Snag Tights on social media for a while and seeing women in a variety of shapes and sizes in their tights I decided it was time to give them a try!

How I use my Louis Vuitton Agenda

While any ring agenda would give me the customization I was looking for I decided I really wanted my planner to be something special that would stand the test of time. It took a few months of patience but I was able to grab a Louis Vuitton Agenda GM in the LV resale group. I realize that these are hard to come by and pricey so know that you could follow my process for making your own custom planner with any ring bound agenda.
